The memories Lockdown poem The coronavirus pandemic has changed us all, Locked in only safe indoors, locked away, People falling ill and people dying, No one feeling safe and very worried for the future, Worried whether life will ever be the same again, Staying home was tough not knowing if it was safe, It was a very difficult and hard time, We didn't know if it would change overtime, The hardest thing was not seeing our beloved, Not being able to hug them and spend time with them, Not seeing friends and playing games, School's closing down and locked away, We cannot play, There was also a bright side of lockdown, When families spent time together, We were altogether , I spoke to friends I have not spoken to in a while, Finding out how they are doing and feeling, We discovered new hobbies to try out , It was starting to look up for all of us as we took our minds off the issue, The days weren't so blue, Clapping for people who were risking their lives for us, On Thursday we felt good as we were cheering these heroes on, The days started looking brighter, During these times there was a range of emotions, Joyfulness, sorrow, frustration, boredom, there were often tensions in the house, We were joyous as we were doing many things we had never tried before, Feeling sorrowful as the atmosphere around was full of upsetting news , Frustration took possession of us as we were tired of staying indoors, Only going to the store, We were bored of everything and tired, Even though staying indoors was required, These were my lockdown memories, Raiha
