2 weeks before lockdown began, my brother got poorly so here was the plan. We stayed home for 2 weeks with no school or work, it wasn't so bad but then it got worse. Boris came on and has something to say, the official lockdown began on that day. I was quite nervous when I heard the speech, I can't believe I can't go to the beach. It was only March but the weather was hot, nobody knew what was safe or not. So we all stayed at home and followed the rules, but some people did not and their just fools. It's April now with no hobbies or friends, I cannot wait until lockdown ends. Mum and Dad are both key workers but there was no hub care for me, but the best thing about home is that happiness is free. It turns out that lockdown isn't bad, I'll tell you some of the things we've had. We had a cinema in the garden and bowling at home, P.E with Joe, family quizzes on the phone. Science experiments, mentos and coke, we couldn't see family but my spirit was not broke. We grew some butterflies from caterpillars they went into cocoons, me and my brother even made cartoons. As lockdown progressed I started to notice, no planes in the sky and people started to change focus. On Thursday we banged pots and pans, to thank the NHS and helping hands. Lockdowns not over there's still lots to do, like washing our hands for me and for you. This will kill off the bug, and get rid of it all, so we can all go out and all do more.
